The Hilton name is famous all over the United States and the world as one of the preeminent hotel chains. Hilton owns 15 brands across their portfolio and include Conrad Hotels and Resorts, Curio, Hilton Hotels and Resorts, Waldorf Astoria, Tru, Tapestry, Motto, Hilton Garden, Embassy Suites, Homewood Suites, Home2, Canopy, Doubletree, and Hilton Grand Vacations. This Hotel chain was started by Conrad Hilton in 1919 in Cisco Texas and has more than 5,500 properties spanning over 894,000 rooms in 109 countries.



Paris Hilton got her last name because she is the great granddaughter of Conrad Hilton, the company founder. Being one of the heirs to the Hilton fortune, Paris was wealthy growing up and become a bit of a socialite. She grew up in Los Angeles and had friends such as Kim Kardashian and Nicole Richie. This reality show ran for 5 seasons, three of which on network television as 2 on cable. It chronicled the life of Paris Hilton and Nicole Ritchie as two socialites struggling to do manual labor jobs like cleaning rooms, fast food and camp counselors. She attended the Buckley School and St Paul Apostle during her elementary education, but bounced around in high school as that was not really her thing.
